Most events take place at the Huron Wetland Management Distrct shop, located on the Maga Ta-Hohpi WPA. Shop adddress is 20721 392nd Ave, Wolsey, SD 57384. The WPA is located about 8 miles west of the town of Huron, SD. The paved accessible hiking trail is accesed from the parking lot south of the shop buildings. A small kiosk has a recent map of the trails. The longer mowed hiking trail and interpretive kiosk is 1 mile west of 392nd Ave. Portions of the mowed hiking trail at times may be unaccessible due to high water conditions in the area.
